Friends of the Library

Friends of the Burley Public Library help support the library primarily through book sales.  Books that are weeded from the library collection and donated books not suitable for the general collection are given to the Friends group for a semi-annual blow-out sale.  The community room also holds a collection of books for sale year-round.  All proceeds go to the Burley Public Library to support programs and library book purchases.

The Friends of the Library group also accept "memorial" or "honoring" donations to purchase special books for the libray.  Donors may request, through their donation, a special type of book to honor or memorialize a special person, a beloved animal friend, or commemorate an event.

Special book sale project.

Membership in the Friends group is easy and affordable.  For as little as $10.00 annually, Friends members receive a special newsletter and the opportunity to be the first to purchase books (& other goodies) at the "preview sale" which kicks off the semi-annual booksale.  Please consider giving your time and donations to this very worthy effort.

The Friends of the Burley Public Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
